Getting Started with your DB2 product

To install a DB2 product, run one of the following commands: 
- On Linux and UNIX operating systems, run the db2setup command. 
- On Windows operating systems, run the setup command. 

Product documentation is available through the online DB2 Information Center at: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v9r7/index.jsp

If you do not have Internet access, basic installation and setup documentation is provided on the product DVD, in HTML and text format, 
in the following directory: doc\gettingstarted\<locale>\<format> directory
where:
- locale is the five-character language code, such as en_US
- format is either html or txt.

If the documentation is unavailable in your locale, access the documentation in the English locale, en_US.
